Velazquez neighborhood, Seville, in 1984. Álvarez is a young multi-disciplinary creative artist. He works both as a graphic and interior-designer, as well as a photographer and painter. Additionally, he works, writes and performs experimental music.

Born into an artistic family,and surrounded by creative stimuli he developed sensitivity, respect and attraction to this broad and contradictory world. Marcos studied graphic and interior design in Seville, Barcelona and Rome.

His first attempts at art, (not including comics) were the design and construction of miniature stages and populating them with soldiers. At the age of 13, he changed direction, completely seduced by the worlds of graffiti and and the “Free Art” Movements.

During this time working “on the street” he also became aware of and was influenced by direct stylistic influences from old German and Russian designs. Continually impressed by this new stimuli, he made the transition from traditional Typographical Graffiti to Street Art, bestowing his work with suprematist and minimalistic touches.

Now residing between Amsterdam and Berlin, he is completely surrounded, attracted and stimulated by pictorial abstraction using texture and color.

Nacido en el Sevillano barrio natal de Velázquez en 1984.
Álvarez, es un joven talento multidisciplinar; complementa su producción con disiplinas tales cómo Diseño Gráfico, Diseño de Interiores, Fotografía, Ilustración y música experimental.

Nacido en un contexto artístico familiar muy presente, nieto de pintor, estimulado y atraido desde temprana edad por el mundo del Arte y la sensibilidad humana. Álvarez estudió Diseño gráfico y de interiores en Barcelona, Sevilla y Roma.

Sus primeras intervenciones artísticas fueron la creación de comics, personajes, ilustración, modelismo y escenografías en miniatura. A la edad de 13 años, Álvarez cambia su dirección creativa por completo, quedando totalmente seducido por el Graffity y Street Art.

Durante este periodo, Marcos realiza una fusión de graffity con diseño funcionalista alemán y ruso, sus directrices principales, esto provocó una notoria transición entre Graffity tradicional y Sreet Art con notorios toques Minimalistas y Suprematistas.

Ahora reside entre Amsterdam,Berlin y Sevilla, se encuentra en un proceso sumergido totalmente en la pintura abstracta moderna usando como principales herramientas el color, textura, sinceridad y consciencia.
